At Fidelis Fido Academy, we use the science behind how dogs learn to train in the most efficient and effective ways. We strive to improve the relationship between human and dog. We like to see an improvement in the harmony in the home and believe that effective communication is the key to having a great relationship with your dog. We are balanced trainers using motivation to increase the frequency of desired behaviors by giving lots of affection and treats. We also use discipline to decrease the likelihood of unwanted behaviors by using verbal reprimand and training tools such as correction collars. We recognize that every dog is an individual that may learn differently and require different training methods.
